Talked to customer service representative who was wonderful and immediately said the info was sent by the manufacturer to go on Wayfair website and that Wayfair was unaware that it wasn't cast iron. Poor service from the company. Rather than ship the base, they texted me a bunch of questions a couple days after I ordered it even trying to confirm the address that I put into Wayfair. Another two days later they sent me a bunch more questions and I told them to cancel the order. I also canceled it on Wayfair and then they shipped it anyway.
