Nice hot tub. Takes a while to heat up and loses heat pretty quickly when you open the lid, but my kids love it. Unfortunately, we had to winterize it for the winter because my energy bill DOUBLED after we set it up. We live in Michigan so it uses a lot of energy during the colder climates. So if you're hot tub shopping just know that these plug and play ones seem really nice and cost effective, but they actually cost way more to run than a hard wired hot tub would. I am going to add this valve to my M-Pact Posi-Temp Balancing valve to add a wall mounted wand and a rain shower head. Was able to get matching trims , will be nice not to have too reach up to the shower head to turn on the wand.. Jeffrey. Fri Jan 30 2026
