Lightweight and easy to carry and move around. I needed a planter with a large enough opening and same width bowl for an outdoor steel cactus. This is the only non-plastic planter I have found with an opening that is truly 19 inches. Most taper inward just below the rim or gradually narrow toward the bottom. My only complaint in that I really, really wanted the iron oxide color, but it has been out of stock forever, so I had to settle for the black. Still very happy with the purchase and the product. This is an excellent product but as a gardener I struggle to understand what you would grow in it. Perhaps bulbs because while it is wide and large it is shallow. You could do band roses.
