I'm overall happy with the cooling power of the fan though you definitely get what you pay for here. The paper filter definitely has a wet paper smell during the first use but that goes away. I added some essential oil to the water and now it smells great every time. Overall it's functional and easy to use, clean, and store when you don't need it. Only true downside, it isn't as quiet on the whisper low setting as I was expecting. It's not terrible, but it is noticeable if it's as closely by you as instructed for optimal cooling.. Bridget. This is the second Vornado table fan that I have purchased for myself. Vornado claims that you can keep your air-conditioning set higher as the fan does such a great job and it is true. Wow wow wow! I am so impressed with this floor ac. Truly thank you wayfair. I got a free one last summer but it was an older model and used a lot more power and electricity and was very large. Another website scammed me into thinking I got a floor ac but it was just a fan dehumidifier which was not even how the product was described.
