The instructions were easy to follow and for the most part the product is very sturdy, but there are a few things to discuss. First, more than one bird has sharpened their claws/beaks on the chair and we can see the gouges from that. The other thing - a few months in and we are seeing some issues with the back of the chair where it doesn’t totally want to stay together (it’s gapping). This chair arrived two days ago, opened up a day later and spent 1 1/2 hours assembling it (quite hot outside) and another 20 minutes finishing it this morning. The reason it took so long was because two of the large bolts were hard to seat all the way and had to be removed and reinserted with a vice grip. However, the chair is now fully assembled and seems very solid. It is obviously large and well designed for a big guy, as I am 6' 2" and weigh 230 lbs. Simply put, I feel very comfortable sitting in this chair in any of the 3 positions! My wife is now designing & making a seat cushion & headrest.
