This is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. Expensive, but completely worth the cost. To have a piece like this custom-made would have been at least as much, and would take longer. I have other pieces in this collection from Copeland. Made from solid cherry with black walnut drawer pulls and beautifully finished, it is exceptional. Was supposed to be delivered in August but it arrived in July. Very pleased about that, along with the communication from Wayfair. The delivery was spot on--the 2 guys were nice as could be and were right on time. They handled the box carefully, and even carried it back to the bedroom rather than leaving it inside the front door. We had a nice chat and tipped them well! There isn't much we don't love about this new bed, but since you've asked: The three middle bed supports/legs under the bed are all black which wouldn't bad if you couldn't see them. However, the one at the end of the bed is visible from almost any position around and away from the bed and detracts significantly from the beautiful look of the bed and its solid wood construction. And it stands to reason that a bed that cost @$3,000 should be not only functionally perfect, but optically in every way. We are also waiting to hear from Wayfair regarding reported damage to the bed, but are hopeful that we will have the damaged part(s) replaced, delivered and installed very soon.. Laurel.
