I had a hard time finding a gold finish to match my existing plumbing’s gold finish from the 1990s, but this was a pretty good match. I would describe this gold tone as a slightly muted gold, softer, not so shiny and yellow as my 1990s existing plumbing. Anyway, it worked for my aesthetic and the functionality is great. NICE TOWELS!! "BUT" DO NOT WASH THESE WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN YOUR TOWELS THEY SHED LIKE CRAZY! I washed them before use and thank goodness I washed them alone and dried them alone! I will probably have to wash them a few times for them to completely shed. Honestly I will only wash them separetely to keep lint off all my other clothes. ALSO the are skinny towels, I wish they were wider. I compared them to my old towels and they are like 2 inches less in width. As far as feel goes and absorbancy THEY ARE FANTASTIC!
