We redid our entire first floor with LVP and this did a great job reducing the noise. Product is manufactured in 40' rolls of 2, 3, or 4 foot widths and we cut them to order. Once you get the mat, if it is too big, it is easy to cut down the length of the mat. Soft vinyl ribbons joining the threads are easy to cut through with a utility knife. However if you wish to cut down the width of the mat - this may be a bit of a challenge as you will need to use a saw.

Update- not very easy to clean and looks darker now, but still feels good to sand in! Haven’t had this very long yet since it arrived during the holidays, but it is heavenly to stand on. It works well for being in our basement. The only thing is that, for having it for two years now, it has clogged twice. In reality, the toilet works pretty well.
