We even operate our own cedar sawmill that produces lumber for our furniture! I do like this swing. It was quite easy to put together, just watch as some of the bolts are similar in size. The part I don’t like is the chain placement, I think over time it will indent the arm of the swing. It has started to already as you can see in the one picture. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Quality Real Sauna Experience Delivery was fast and professional — they rolled the crate right into my garage. Everything arrived in perfect condition and very well packaged. Assembly took about 12 hours with two people. I’m pretty handy, but having a second person definitely helps. The barrel design goes together logically if you take your time. The cedar wood quality is excellent, and once heated, the smell is incredible — exactly what you expect from a traditional sauna. The 6 kW heater performs great. It heats the sauna to 180°F in about an hour. I prefer higher temps (185°F), and with minor airflow adjustments I’m confident it can reach 185–190°F. Steam over the stones feels strong but comfortable. As a heavy sauna user, I was very satisfied with how my body felt afterward — deep relaxation and a powerful sweat. Energy use seems reasonable for a 6 kW unit. Important tip The heater has a delay timer zone. To start heating immediately, turn the knob clockwise past the delay section and then back slightly into the first heating zone. Otherwise, it will wait before turning on. Also, after about one hour the heater automatically shuts off, so you’ll need to repeat the turn-on procedure if you want to maintain heat longer. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. Love it!!! I paid $1500 to a general contractor to assemble it, took 7 hours and I paid $3500 to an electrician to run 220V to the back yard which took 6 hours. Still more than half the cost of the lowest price given at a local store here in San Diego. Great quality, gets as hot as advertised in about 15 minutes, but San Diego is never cold, so starting temp is always around 70 degrees. Built it over a gravel pad that I did myself. Only needed an electrician for the final hook ups. Please note on the BILT App and in the pictures the front and back vent are shown in the wrong place. The front vent should be below the heater and the back vent should be high and above the benches. This was an easy build that I did alone with only the usual amount of rework due to my own laziness in reading instructions. The sauna itself is an amazing deal and perfect as a single person sauna. This was a great buy. The instructions were very helpful, use the app as well. I am mechanically and electrically savvy and this took me 9 hours start to finish including electrical work. The craftsmanship of the precut wood is beautiful. But... (1) Building this box is a bigger project than I expected. (2) There are no pre-drilled pilot holes on the legs, which creates potential for slight but significant measuring errors, especially when the screws go through knots.
