Well my review is mixed. I love the look and I couldn’t find tin backsplash from anywhere else. Everything was faux tin so basically vinyl. These are not aluminum. Some sort of special galvanized so I hope they do not rust. Our problem came when we put a very mild masking tape on the tin to mark our cutting area. As you can see from the picture the paint came off! We were surprised that this would happen considering the cost. Very disappointed. Now I worry how much paint will come off when I clean it. The vent cover arrived quickly and in good condition. I like the modern, clean style and the screws are hidden. The installation instructions are clear and remind you multiple times to measure the opening and purchase the cover appropriate for the space. There is no wheel or mechanism to open and close the baffles. You use your fingers or a screwdriver which could be a pain if you are using it in a ceiling or other difficult to access area.
