Perfect! Great quality, look, size, shape, etc. I found a similar/same item (but under a different brand) on the Wayfair site in black, but stalled to order and sale price increased from $120-ish to $166.99 in one day. Was very bummed until I found these for $104 each - the photo, dimensions and description were identical (except for color). Thought I was settling, but the brownstone color is beautiful - not a chocolate brown like I feared, just a neutral grayish-brown that's slightly speckled and really looks great. Attached is a photo next to a black container for reference. Also love that the thick lip around the planter makes it feel substantial and give it extra strength, even though its a 1-ply heavy gauge plastic pot. I take care of entryway planters at our little church. The ones I have had there for six years had come apart and were leaking at the bottom. While I have not yet brought this to Church or put potting mix in or planted it yet still chilly at night in Minnesota, looking at the construction of this one I am very highly satisfied. Or I suppose it could be for overflow There was no diagram of the rain barrel explaining all the nuances. This was even better looking than I thought it would be. It looks beautiful. However, customers should know that there is no opening for a diverter hose from a downspout. And there are no instructions for setting up other than the spigots. It seems like it is designed to just sit anywhere and gather rain, which would take forever. The 50 Gallon Terra Cotta Rainbarrel is a slightly smaller version of our 55-gallon Terra Cotta Barrels. Heavy-Duty Screening keeps mosquitoes out. Our rain barrels are uniquely designed with plastic fittings that match the rate of expansion and contraction of barrel plastic from season to season to avoid leakage. These rain barrels are repurposed from pre-used imported food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rain barrels are made of High-Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will dissipate after a few full barrel filling cycles. We use a PH-balanced, environmentally friendly soap when cleaning so that the water gathered can immediately be used on plants without harm. These barrels keep difficult to break down plastics from adding bulk to landfills and also contain and repurpose stormwater.
