This cart is functional, pretty, and exactly what I needed for my kitchen space. Solid wood, easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and easy to follow. It lost one star because I only received one cabinet knob, not two, and had to run to the hardware store to purchase replacements to complete the build. The customer service center was closed for the weekend by the time I realized the error, but regardless I wanted it completed, so off I went. Replacement knobs in hand, the rest of the assembly went smoothly. Getting the top placed correctly was a teensy bit tricky, I do wish there had been some indication as to what was the front or back, but I managed to get it done. I purchased the kitchen island in the European Cherry, and it smells like it was just stained prior to it being shipped. It is beautiful and worth every penny! I am using it as a coffee station. What you don't see in these pictures, because I have this up against a wall, is that there is another set of cabinet doors on the other side so that you can get to the cabinet on either side of this kitchen island. Good build. Purchased 2018 from Lowe’s. Second and third purchases from Wayfair over the past year. This IS the grill you want if you don’t want flame ups. The refrigerators are really really solid. I ordered this in white to match a baker’s rack that I also ordered from Wayfair, and I’m very happy with it. I have an outdated kitchen with minuscule space for kitchen prep, and while the island top isn’t as big as I’d like it to be, it definitely adds some much-needed prep space, along with a ton of storage, including drawers and cabinets. It’s incredibly heavy, sturdy and functional. I wasn’t crazy about the silver hardware, so I did switch out the knobs snd pulls to better match the hardware in the rest of my kitchen.
