There are pre-drilled holes to put the chair together, which is great - IF they line up. The front legs have 3 holes each. ONE out of the 8 front legs (4 chairs) lined up for all three holes. All the other 7 front legs (on the 4 chairs) only 2 of the 3 holes lined up. This was frustrating. We will drill our own third hole to make sure the chair is sturdy.
