This is a great pergola for the price! It was a lot to put together. One of the pieces got dented in the set up process but it’s minor. The louvred top is easy to adjust. Thes design was perfect for a window with extremely limited space for a curtain rod and finials. I looked for a long time to find the right design for full functionality and my aesthetic. I probably could use two sets of curtains on the window but I don’t think the rod would hold the additional weight. My curtains are fine and do cover the window fine but I would prefer to add an additional set for aesthetics only. I still love the design and would buy them again if they only came in this size. I did purchase a rod larger than I needed so that it is not hanging on just a weaker single rod. It has the support of the rod inside the rod that I’m not using. I recently had siding put on my home. My contractor sort of refused to put my old awnings back on the house - rightfully so - would have been awful! So, I started searching for suitable choices.
