The hood arrived well packaged. It came with installation directions. It is a perfect fit for my space. It is a solid piece and looks very nice. Amazing range hood! Not easy to install, we actually still were sweating trying to get it secured in with four people involved. The instructions say at least two people, but I would get more people helping! It understandably took us a long time, but it is very sturdy. We have just short of 8 ft ceilings, and wanted it about 30” over the stovetop, so we also had to cut the two covers for the top portion. Get a metal cutting wheel and grinder, it was definitely not a job for someone who doesn’t have experience doing that, but you could cut it a different way if needed. Not necessary to alter like that though for taller ceilings, or lower placements. Installation aside, this range hood works beautifully and is strong even on its lowest setting. The lights are not blinding, and it’s nice having just buttons for control on both sides. Absolutely would recommend, for anyone who has the right help to install! This hood is quiet, has four exhaust settings, a timer and two adjustable led lights. We needed it to vent out the wall and it was an easy job for our contractor. Very nice! But too big. This range hood is for a larger or commercial size range. The cabinets hanging on the sides of our stove won’t allow this to be installed. Looks great and heavy. Pro500SS - we recently installed this hood ourselves and was ab easy install. The instructions were easy to follow. We are very satisfied with this hood. The exhaust is really good, easy to use contol panel and we like how it looks in our kitchen. We previously had a microwave hood combo and was not good. This model has 4 strength settings and can be controlled by a wave of the hand and by bluetooth. Its easy to clean. We definitely would recommend this product to family and friends.. Tolentog. This purchase was a bad choice. For one, it DOES NOT come with the chimney piece! Wayfair referred me to the manufacture to purchase that piece for an additional $250 but it wasn't available to ship until January 2019! So, I had to have one custom made so my contractor could finish my kitchen remodel. Also, the blue lights on the front are SO bright, they are annoying. Wish I could turn them off. Love the look of the curved glass. Because of the glass, the canned ceiling light is able to go through the glass and illuminate my new COSMO 5 burner cook top we also purchased. This plus the LED lights on the COSMO range hood brighten my cooking area more so. My husband sauteed Brussel sprouts and he used the highest setting on the exhaust fan.
