There is no way to directly control the light andor fan function directly through a wall switch. Nice little frig for all practical purposes. However the description is a little different from what the directions manual states. For example description says it can be slid under a counter top. Yet the directions say to leave 4 inches behind the unit for air flow. So it’s seems the unit would stick out from a typical counter depth. The instruction manual also talks about the need to defrost which was unexpected. We are keeping it anyway as will use to store a few waters and drinks in another room outside the kitchen. I am super impressed with this. Installation was easy except the ducting part that took some work but once installed it works so well. On the lowest setting it’s barely noticeable yet still powerful. I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone.
