Nice hot tub. Takes a while to heat up and loses heat pretty quickly when you open the lid, but my kids love it. Unfortunately, we had to winterize it for the winter because my energy bill DOUBLED after we set it up. We live in Michigan so it uses a lot of energy during the colder climates. So if you're hot tub shopping just know that these plug and play ones seem really nice and cost effective, but they actually cost way more to run than a hard wired hot tub would. Be prepared for assembly. You'll need the following: spray dish soap for lubrication, a rubber mallet and a phillips-head screwdriver. Fortunately, it's only four screws, the rest is like putting together a Lego set. It just takes some serious pounding with the rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, and I mean serious pounding. Just fair warning. The dish soap helps to get things going. This umbrella base is a great addition to our outdoor setup. It has a solid weight to it, so it holds the umbrella securely even on windy days. The finish looks really nice, and the decorative pattern adds a touch of style without being over the top. It arrived well packaged with no damage. Assembly was quick and easy—only took a few moments to put together. I also like that it accommodates two different umbrella pole sizes, making it very versatile.
