I ordered this in white to match a baker’s rack that I also ordered from Wayfair, and I’m very happy with it. I have an outdated kitchen with minuscule space for kitchen prep, and while the island top isn’t as big as I’d like it to be, it definitely adds some much-needed prep space, along with a ton of storage, including drawers and cabinets. It’s incredibly heavy, sturdy and functional. I wasn’t crazy about the silver hardware, so I did switch out the knobs snd pulls to better match the hardware in the rest of my kitchen. Overall: Perfect storage but insane off gassing. Arrived with no instructions but I made it through Pros: - Side spice rack fits condiments and medications/supplements perfectly - Perfect size for small kitchen appliances, medium/large pots and pans, and coffee/tea items. - Well designed - convenient outlets Cons: - I bought this open box and it arrived with a cracked top piece and no instructions. Wayfair handled the issue, but I didn't want to waste the entire unit so I ended up using reverse image search on multiple foreign language search engines to hunt down pics I could use as reference and finally an assembly guide. - Off gassing. Wow. I'm sensitive to smells/VOCs and I had to open my windows for days while building this. It's been a month, and I can still smell it when I open the cabinets. Nitpicks/Tips: - The outlets only work if you turn the lights on. This is fine, but I might get amber light gels to cover the strips. - It seems like it moves well, as a unit, but I can't comment on that - my the top section doesn't easily because mine is cracked. 4/5, I love having this in my space and don't mind the non-VOC issues!. Decent cabinet. The light string is pretty cheap. When applying it, it just gets covered in dust and wood from the carved out area.
