I do love the bed. One suggestion: I tried to get the shipping date changed before I even placed the order. You cannot change it online. So I called and was told by an associate that it could be done. It was a difficult process and in the end, the bed was delivered on the original date! It's not great quality, and it's a bit sketchy the way the slats lay on the center thing, but it works for our 9 year old son! I was happier than expected with this purchase. The painted finish is smooth and beautiful, and the wood is solid. It was super easy to assemble. It came with two sets of legs for different height options. It is a stable and sturdy piece. FYI - a standard boxspring will be visible above the side rails. I love this bed. Beautiful style, great color, and storage below for sheets and blankets. First of all, I was able to assemble it myself. And wonder of wonders, they included an extra for every type of screw and even an extra wrench. Something you should know though...the description says you can use for platform or standard bed. If you use on the standard settings, the drawers won’t fit under it. If you put a mattress and box spring on the platform setting it makes the bed too tall. I solved by buying a low profile box spring. If you plan to use as platform bed, no problem. Just be aware. Also there are only two drawers. You can use both on one side or both at the top or bottom.
