I was well overdue for a new immersion blender, and did a good bit of research before deciding on this one. The attachments on this model are terrific. The only one I have not yet used is the masher (solid black piece), but maybe this fall when we make more mashed potatoes. The blender has a safety lock design that my previous did not. The "click" mechanism for releasing/swapping attachments makes using it a breeze. I especially like that it has three speeds for blending: pulse (which pulses though you hold the button steady), low and high. This makes it very versatile for my various uses. I’ve used several hand blenders over the years, and this Braun blender has been one of the best. Very efficient controller. Have only had it in place for about 2 months so time will tell, but it's working great so far. The only thing I wasn't clear on was that it will only work for one faucet. This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. However, it doesn't easily suck up thing like Cheerios and chocolate chips that my toddler leave behind. That part is frustrating. I still need a broom to pick up larger items.. Douglas.
