This thing is a beast. The company that makes it usually sells it for over $1000. This is the place to buy. The instructions weren't crystal clear but we got the hang of it. There were a couple of random springs with no instructions as to what to do with them. AI came in handy. There was one piece of metal that was slightly bent and prevented the top grate from sliding in but it was easily remedied with a mallet. It is precisely 30dx40w without the skirt. I'm not impressed with the wooden dowels and am ordering other types of perches to install. For this price those tiny little side issues were totally worth it. received this cage in perfect condition but..... not same as picture from Wayfair, a &e site or any site. instead of having round wire on top dome part, it was flat square. and not all smooth. I was scared for my quaker parrot s feet . also missing parts and the caster wheels were all plastic instead of metal. the space of wiring was bigger than the specifications. cage different than advertised. a&e confirmed that I received the right cage model but all the advertisement are with the wrong picture. so with all that I decided to return for full refund . very disappointed and it s very inconvenient.Wayfair are always a big help though. through all that they are always supportive. excellent customer service. special thank you to Jocelyne (supervisor). Zazoo turns 25 this year, and we wanted a more affordable cage incase he is near the end of his lifespan. We hope he’ll like his new home. The cage was well-packed and the only damage was to one of the sliding pans. It was dented and chipped, but I’m not concerned. Nice sturdy heavy cage just as discribed but not exactly what I expected. It is pretty but the bars are thicker than our previous cage so it's harder to see the birds. It only has 1 actual access opening so not convient to move things around in the cage. Other 3 openings are for changing food & water out. This is very common for many cages but my birds are not tamed and I do not have a bird room. I love how convenient it is to clean the cage with the pull out grid and the metal tray. Much better than grid inside cage and staticy plastic tray. The cons are some parts are slightly off and the bottom catcher comes apart. Our Eclectus parrot likes the space: even the bump out for the Victorian flourish top. He quickly explored the inside and outside of the cage, treats and water from the new bowls and perch, and enjoyed sittling like a king on the perch stretched in the Victorian top opening. The color is a dark gray. The front door lock could be sturdier. We like accessing the bowls as they swing from the inside to the outside of the cage. For the price point the material is very heavy, and the cage is well made. There is plenty of room and doors. I added a bath at one door, and a UVAUVB light so my small parrot could get needed light.
