Great quality and love the simple design. I didn't use this on a door that was made for a dummy handle, it was a working handle before. So the bolts didn't work with the hole that was already made in the door but I figured out a way to use a backer to hold it on. It won't be visible from the back so it works.. Susan. IN. Very sturdy and easy to install. We installed ours over where a round doorknob used to be. We still need to add a little wood filler, stains and paint to cover a small bit of the hole in the door at the top of the handle. This went on my interior laundry roommudroom door. Due to humidity and occasional dampness, the old, cheap knobs would become hard to turn. I have issues with arthritis in my hands. This is so easy to use compared to the round knobs. The Rockwell Charlotte handles are the traditional sliding door handles. It is a 2 piece construction handle and is available in a back-to-back C handle or with an exterior finger pull. The Charlotte sliding door handles have a good finger clearance but do have a profile height of 1.95 inches and may not clear all screen doors. They come standard in a private version but are also available in a limited edition with the key locking cylinders preinstalled in the offset keylock position. The handles are Non-handed and suitable for either right or left-hand doors. The Charlotte handles are suitable for 0.171″ diameter screw-hole door face bores.
