This 6 in. Sloped Ceiling IC Recessed Housing with Quick Link Connector has several great installation features plus an Air-Tight rating. It is ideal for IC and non-IC new construction applications. Its gasketed Air-Tight housing restricts airflow from conditioned spaces into unconditioned attic space, preventing unnecessary HVAC costs and improving the overall home energy efficiency. The housing and frame are constructed from die-formed corrosion resistant galvanized steel. An aluminum enclosure box ensures proper heat dissipation, allowing this fixture to be used in contact with insulation. The lamp housing compartment can be adjusted to fit ceiling thicknesses from in. to 1 in. The socket position can be adjusted to accommodate ceiling pitches from 2/12 to 7/12 pitch. It features a universal J-box with snap-out sides.
