My only gripe is that something with this much weight really could use a safety latch to keep it from swinging open while not in use. My husband and preschooler put these together quickly. My husband had a lot of positive things to say about the quality (until he found out how much I paid per chair, and then he said, “What! I am 5’2, and my knees ache after a while of sitting in them even though I’m not a person who usually gets joint aches. I could probably benefit from a foot stool. But my husband is 5’9 and finds them comfortable. Despite the cost, we plan to invest in three more of these chairs for our children to use. I expect them to last a long time. We use these at our fire pit. The arm rests are nice and wide for putting a drink, phone, or small plate. Our kids are ages 1-7 and the chairs are wide enough for two kids to sit. I weigh 127 lbs and am very comfy in my chair, but my hubby seems to keep ‘sinking’ so even though the weight max is 250, anyone close to 200 is pushing the limit it seems.
