It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. This is a major appliance. I am super excited about this and to get it installed in the bonus room above the garage. It gets pretty warm in there in the summer months and cold in the winter months. I have had somewhat of a journey finding an HVAC company to install it considering I already have the equipment, but I have two quotes which seem reasonable and will look to have it installed in the coming weeks. It is definitely a sleek, looking appliance that will blend in nicely to the room. HVAC estimators said all of the components are standard and included and there was nothing more they needed to add to it. One said it looked like a high-quality product to install. I love the fact that it has remotes for the different appliances. It even comes with a mounting guide (see picture below). We LOVE this thing! Best upgrade ever. We purchased a sufficiently rated countdown timer switch with intervals that seemed appropriate for a bathroom heater (Leviton DT102 15-30-1h-2h) and have been enjoying this heated mirror so much. A brief ON will defog the mirror, while 15 minutes ON (switching on a bit before getting into the shower) is long enough for it to heat up fully and make a huge difference when stepping OUT of the shower. 30mins is great for getting ready on a very cold morning. The mirror optics seem very clear and high quality. We did not do the installation ourselves, as it was put in during a whole house rewire the electricians opted to put in a recessed outlet box behind the mirror and just plug it in there, rather than hard wiring it. This will preserve flexibility going forward. Because it was going in a very particular place, and we have plaster rather than drywall, they opted to install cross pieces of plywood secured to the wall, and mounted the mirror to the wood strips. It’s very secure-feeling. My one negative point is the thing gets so warm that it’s not comfortable to lean my face close (bad eyesight) for putting on make-up. This is something that might require finessing your timing if it was your only mirror, or setting up a small well-lit mirror in another location. This hot tub is great! I have had it for a few month now and have not had a single issue. It was easy to get set up and ready to go. The jets are strong if you want them to be but adjustable if you don’t. Size is great. I love the cup holders and ice bucket. Cover is thick and does a great job. I haven’t had a chance to hook it up yet, but first impressions have been very positive. The delivery went smoothly, and everything arrived in good condition. One of the main reasons I chose this spa was the double lounger layout, which is hard to find at this price point. I had used this type of air conditioner at an Air BnB and really like it, this was main reason for ordering this one and it is great. I especially like that it is a converter unit and can be used year-round for cooling in the summer and for heat in the winter. The greatest advantage, I think is the savings on your electric bill from not having to cool the entire house. The inverter option is great for any place with short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! I heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote control is a must, but it works great with the thermostat so I just set the temperature I like and that’s it! The room stays at a comfortable temperature. My husband was able to do most of the installation. It was relatively easy to install the unit on the wall with parts that are included, we only had a certified electrician do the the connection and final install of the unit.
