I was very pleased with the size and appearance of the two vases exactly what I needed. However, the problem was separating the vases once I removed them from the very sturdy box. They shipped stacked together inside the box and wrapped in plastic, which was probably cost effective, but very impractical from a customers perspective. Long story short, I sprayed WD-40 along the rim and plastic, waited 5 mins, lightly tapped along the rim with a hamper, then pulled on the plastic, and they came a part easily at that point. This is an excellent product but as a gardener I struggle to understand what you would grow in it. Perhaps bulbs because while it is wide and large it is shallow. You could do band roses. Beautiful planter and sturdy. Perfect for my needs. I filled the top of the planter (above the shelve) with styrofoam, added a fake plant, and topped off with stones.
