The inverter option is great for any place with short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! I heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote control is a must, but it works great with the thermostat so I just set the temperature I like and that’s it! The room stays at a comfortable temperature. My husband was able to do most of the installation. It was relatively easy to install the unit on the wall with parts that are included, we only had a certified electrician do the the connection and final install of the unit. This is a major appliance. I am super excited about this and to get it installed in the bonus room above the garage. It gets pretty warm in there in the summer months and cold in the winter months. This is exactly what I needed. I have had somewhat of a journey finding an HVAC company to install it considering I already have the equipment, but I have two quotes which seem reasonable and will look to have it installed in the coming weeks. It is definitely a sleek, looking appliance that will blend in nicely to the room. HVAC estimators said all of the components are standard and included and there was nothing more they needed to add to it. One said it looked like a high-quality product to install. I love the fact that it has remotes for the different appliances. It even comes with a mounting guide (see picture below). I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. I have been using these filters for the last 7 years. I live in LA and the facet water isn’t the best to drink. These filters make a healthy water that taste good. Please note you have to buy the concealed wall box with this or it cant be installed. Mine arrived with a dent and as my contractor failed to tell me before installing it, I feel I have to keep it. Had he told me before installing it, which was rhr last thing he did as his job was done, I would have exchanged it as it's a great towel warmer and works well.
