The stunning glass from Bruck Lighting is hand-blown in various locations across the globe, including Italy, Austria, Germany and the United States. Professional glass making, which originated during the Roman Empire, is a painstaking process where only true perfection is accepted, and the rejected pieces are broken up and recycled. All of our glass artisans are highly experienced and gifted in the art of glass making. These artisans choose only top quality glass batches to start off their process. The glass is then meticulously mouth-blown in a series of furnaces ranging in temperature, as to create the perfect shape. No one in the world will have the same exact piece of glass, as each piece is hand-made. As the glass is being refined in the multi-furnace process, different colors of glass are added, making it a multi-colored cornucopia of depth and hue. Finally, fine craftsman tools are used to finalize the shape of the glass. The result is a superb conversation starter for any location. I fell in love with this light as we designed and renovated the first floor of a clients house. Our client was surprising particular about his dining room light. Most design recommendations he readily accepted so I was surpised when he vetoed several dining room light suggestions. After presenting our client with several more options, he selected this fixture in black. He liked the lines of the fixture with his curved, gently swooping top. He liked that it didn't have any wood detailing. And He loved the interior contrasting color. Having a pendant that could be set to a height for the current table and adjusted down the road for a new dining room table, was important. (electrician left extra cord length in the box in ceiling). Gea’s circular structure showcases the clean lines of thoughtful design: a lamp that is decorative, unobtrusive, and timeless. Gea’s classic form is ideally suited to a range of environments, both commercial and residential. Gea Suspension is available in three sizes: Small, Large, and Slim. Each size is perfect as an individual pendant, perhaps suspended above a table or in a cosy corner. The Gea Suspension will also make a striking lighting cluster, especially when combining different sizes. The Gea Small and Large Suspension lamps use a traditional E27 lightbulb and incorporate a matt satin acrylic diffuser. Gea Slim uses an integrated LED light source and has the option of a black or white top diffuser, and a matt satin acrylic bottom diffuser. The Gea Suspension is available in the following wood veneers: Natural Cherry, Ivory White, Natural Beech, Yellow, Orange, Red, Blue, Grey, Pale Rose, and Sea Blue.

I have used this piece before a few times. The design is simply beautiful, the quality is sublime. This piece is from Spain, imported...and the packing is unbelievable. the light glows through the wood veneer, making for a striking visual effect. All of there products are pieces of artwork.
