Very thin - not at all as description Return was too costly Unable to use online service to resolve…virtual asst was circular Ok- an add on to my review- I stand corrected! I should say I was not happy when I felt the fabric….unpacked and washed and a whole different story! I should have known but really there is no way to tell until u actually wash them. The fabric is now nice and crispy -my preferred for a cool clean feel to sleep! They are wrinkly coming out of the dryer but I will gladly press the top sheet and pillow cases for the feel!. Kathy. Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. These sheets say they are organic and are labeled correctly. I like them and washed them once but they do seem kinda thin and alittle stiff. THey say they get softer with every wash. These sheets are amazing. They are 100% cotton and fit my extra tall mattress without moving or shifting through the night and being 100% cotton are breathable. For those that say they are 'stiff' that is what percale sheets are, a nice crisp cotton sheet. This isn't my first set of percale cotton and over time through washing and adding softener they will soften but who doesn't love slipping into a nice crisp set of sheets at the end of a hard day?.
