I should have consulted my contractor prior to buying this, because another piece is needed to work with this three-way diverter valve. It would’ve been helpful to have notes on the description, indicating another piece was needed. Love this tub faucet for our new free-standing tub. I wanted something traditional with pretty clean lines and I personally didn’t want the tub filler on the floor. This one fit the bill perfectly. It works great, although if I turn it on full-blast the water does hit the side of the tub and splashes on the floor just a little bit. I just don’t turn it on full-blast! Also I was a little disappointed that when it was installed the handles didn’t go straight across, they pointed down somewhat when completely closed. We purchased these for our sink that had a 1.5 inch drain size, and it's hard to find ones that are compatible. Our plumber installed one and found that it was extremely difficult to find a compatible tail pipe as this drain DOES NOT come with a tail pipe, which is in the description of the item. Further, once we removed the item after testing the pop-up capability with water once, the internal components had already started rusting.
