I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. It’s definitely very unusual light fixture. I wasn’t sure. I liked it when we put it on, but my husband and electrician absolutely love it. So we’re keeping it and I’m getting used to it. It’s not your normal, elegant light fixture. I would say it’s a little bulky, but again it’s could be just me. All the guys are absolutely love it. The only important thing I would like to mention that is the every single light poll has a protective film on it, which is attached really really strong. And we didn’t remove it before we hand it on. We are very happy with this light. Simple and sleek. It is enough brightness and with the light shining up and down, it seems to not cast any shadows. Really warms the room up great. Connected to a dimmer switch and it’s even better. The metal feels good and the color is great. Only complaint was the install. A little painful to align all the wires and get it level.
