Knob is very small it is 1 ⅛" and be sure you measure beforehand. I don't have a quarter or a tape measure to show scale but here is a pic beside my little finger. This massive system unfortunately will not even fit in this house without replacing the cabinetry, counter and sink. We are though moving back to our other house in a month and will be definitely installing this. Do not buy this especially if you have to pay for water usage. It drips after every usage and a few minutes after using it, more dripping. It also drips when the tank heats up. I was told that's how the product is Really? Where does it say that?!!! It was suggested to lower the heat to reduce dripping. That defeats the purpose of having an instant hot.
