I was thinking I maybe needed to reinforce with nails, but when I ripped the coating off the Sheetrock, I figured it was fine. lol they look amazing and I like that they are thinner than traditional shiplap. This product imparts a greater gloss than Marmoleum has out of the box. I'd call it satin. We like the shine. Since it is a Forbo product it should be the most compatible treatment available. The instructions say it both cleans and shines though it makes sense to thoroughly sweep then clean the floor with mild detergent and water or the Forbo cleaner first.
