I ordered this Shade Replacement Canopy for its name. I lost 2 of three huge spruce trees in my yard. Meanwhile we have now got 90” heat while I am trying to rehab the sudden parched weedy dirt whey used to call home. What we like is the material is heavy duty, and should stand up to sun loads. What we did not: 1).Center support opening has no loops to attach to the hangers. This resulted in having to utilize Zip-ties to make up for the lack of center support. Failing to support the center results in a "swayback" droop in the middle. Each end has an elastic to attach to the existing loops on your frame, why not the center too? 2).The original canopy also had tie offs on each end to prevent it shifting back & forth. This shade cover seems like a good quality. Comes with rods, if you need them for extra support and weight. Plenty of hardware and they have zip ties included, nice touch! The seams are see well with an extra seams for support through the middle. That will help us a lot because we have strong winds. Have it up for the second season. Good quality but should be made stronger where poles are attached. Had to put gorilla tape over the tares. update - this past summer it tore so much it has to be replaced. Someone should design these with stronger fabric. Update july 2024.
