Shade Sail 17 X17

I needed some shade for the car with the heat this year. I have purchased shade sails from WAYFAIR in past years. The awning arrived intact and we are in the process of completing this project: painting posts with tops and using dacron line with clips we can remove it for tropical storms/hurricanes. The color and fabric match what I have for other awning/shade sails. Thank-you.. Karen. Avon Park, FL. Tue Jun 30 2026

This shade sail was exactly what we were looking for. It helps reduce the afternoon heat, looks beautiful overhead, and gives our patio a more inviting feel. The material feels sturdy, and it has held up well since we installed it.. Gracie. Pasco, WA. Tue Jul 21 2026

Not enough hardware when I ordered it looked like there was a lot more hardware there. I’m missing. I have to order two.. Michael. Lakewood, CO. Thu Aug 06 2026

Super nice but I ordered the wrong size--I reordered a larger size.. Glen. Lehigh Acres, FL. Mon Jul 27 2026

ColourTree super ring shade sails are the most durable shade sails on the market; they are made of 260 GSM permeable HDPE (high-density polyethylene) fabric with cable wires built into edges and integrated into our patented steel mounting corners.

Made very well!! Made a shade for the horses since it was going to be 105 all week. Material is thick and the cable running through it is nice because you don’t have to worry about the material ripping like a normal shade cloth. Hardware is nice and heavy. Anonymous. Mon Aug 03 2026

Excellent heavy duty shade sail!. The continuous wire and heavy duty corner brackets make it vey strong and will no doubt last. The grey goes perfect with my house color so I used it over my open front courtyard. Blocks out at least 90% of the sun as you can see in the picture I took looking directly at the sun. Really great and makes my courtyard so much more enjoyable all day.. Brian. Reno, NV. Sat Jul 25 2026

This is a very high quality sail. I have yet to install it as I figured, like many of the other sails that it came with the hardware to do so. Unfortunately, hardware is secondary but, like I said, fabric is super thick and uses steel cable loops and metal corners for ultimate reliability. Will definitely update once fully installed.. We absolutely love it. We designed a social area for our cabin guests to use and this is a perfect cover for rain and sun without having to get something custom made.. Kateri. Cherry Creek, NY. Sat Aug 15 2026

Installed this rectangular shade sail over our back patio and its made a huge difference — covers our seating area and the kids play space, and cuts the afternoon sun noticeably. The browntaupe color looks good against our house and doesnt show dirt like lighter colors would.. Christine. Chula Vista, CA. Mon Aug 31 2026

durable! I had to place poles in the middle for yard sale table shade and it withstood the wind and the poles. WOW1. Ellen Adams. Fri Oct 02 2026

Perfect! Allows a breeze but keeps the sun off of you. Water does leak through when it rains, but at least it doesn’t pool!. Lesley. Largo, FL. Mon Jun 22 2026

Really happy with this shade sail! The red color looks great and adds a nice touch. The material feels really durable and well-made, and the 13 x 10 ft size provides plenty of space. Quality is really good. Currently using indoors and works great, will be moving it outside soon.. Almir. Mon Oct 19 2026

Nice quality!!! Wow! The metal hardware “hooks” are really heavy duty and have some weight to them. The material is thick, very durable, and practically commercial grade. It also has a very slight shimmer to it which will look so lovely in the sun!. Robin. Irondale, AL. Tue Mar 11 2025

Easy for protecting our outdoor kitchen grill area for almost a year. A recent rainstorm resulted in some strong winds and it split the sunshade in two. Hope to order another sunshade soon and wonder if this one is under warranty. Eve. Indialantic, FL. Sat Aug 02 2025

This shade sail is made of a thick but flexible material that should provide just the right amount of protection from the sun without being a total "sunblock" (or completely waterproof) and the reinforced attachment points on the sail seem sufficiently strong. I haven't yet installed it, but the included kit appears to be very comparable to the separate installation kit I ordered just in case the included kit was flimsier or more difficult to use. This particular brand of sail offered a lot of different size options, which is ideal if you are looking for a sail to fit a space with unequal distances between the triangle points. The sail I ordered measures 20' x 20' x 28.3'. it came with a installation hardware kit but I can't yet comment on whether the hardware kit works well. I also ordered another hardware kit in case I needed a different installation option than the one included. Unfortunately, Wayfair said it delivered both when I never received the additional hardware kit. After waiting 3 days to see if there was a problem with how the item was scanned, I have reported the missing delivery and hope that I will receive that other installation kit so that I can choose which kit will work better for installing the sai.. Finally got this shade sail installed over my chicken coop and inside run. South Texas summers are brutal, but this is going to provide an escape from the direct sun. I’m very pleased with the quality. Came with all installation hardware, and husband didn’t have any issues installing it.. Amanda. Castroville, TX. Sat Mar 21 2026
