Remote is one of those extremely cheap button-battery remotes with no indication of function printed on it. You have to guess what the functions are. The multi-function options are so tacky that I'm not sure why they offer them. I intend to stick with white lights. Note: not all of the white lights are the same temperature; some are a little cooler and brighter than others - can't really see it in photos. I put the tree together and initially thought the lights weren’t working. I later realized the cord hadn’t aligned into the wall adapter, even though it appeared fully twisted in. If you’re having trouble with the lights not working, double check that the cord and adapter are aligned. The tree itself is beautiful but needs to be fluffed out quite a bit.. Anonymous. I’m very pleased with this tree. I love that it’s under 30 pounds. I’m nearly 60 years old and can no longer haul heavy Christmas decorations by myself. I love the color options. My husband loves the colored lights and I prefer the white lights. This tree offers us both options. We had a real tree that dried out super fast despite daily watering and I decided to purchase an unlit artificial tree so I could change up the lights from year to you. The bottom half is a little less so, hence the four stars instead of five. With some fluffing and judicious arrangement of branches and ornaments, I still have a beautiful tree that I am super happy with.
