Monument Grills offers pre-seasoned cookware without synthetic chemicals. Use the flat side for pancakes, eggs, crispy pizza, etc., and the ribbed side for meats, steaks, broiling, and more. The cast iron grill/griddle heats up within a few minutes. Clean it with hot water, dry it, then use a paper towel with cooking oil to wipe it all over, distributing the heat evenly.

This grill has help up well over the last several years. We do keep it covered. It still works and still looks attractive. The thermostat has pretty much stopped working, but so be it. Great looking compact grill. Perfect for our lanai needs. Terrific color, we choose to go with the stone color. Suggestion when assembling open and separate ALL pieces and parts. Many parts in the first couple of steps are located inside a box, inside the main part of the grill. I did not see them until I was further into the assembly. But overall, the assembly was fairly simple, and the directions were clear and easy. We just used our new grill for the first time this past weekend. The heat distribution is different than our last grill, but Ill get the used to the new heating optio soon enough. Again, great looking unit once set up.
