It’s safe to say the level of detail in the instruction manual is one of the best we have ever seen! And the organization of the parts was *chef’s kiss*. We put it together in just over 3 hours while also wrangling our young hyenas - I mean kids. We have built dressers and desks and tables and wayyy too many Hot Wheels tracks. They all prepared us for this experience. And this was far easier than we thought it would be. My husband was able to be the only one up on the ladder while I took the role of assistant and hyena wrangling. It was a bear to put together, things didn't line up always and so we had to bang them into place. As for it being water tight, fingers crossed, only time will tell. Also the boxes are delivered with box 3 on top which is good to access the installation instructions but the floor is in box 1 where we started. Screws and parts were in packages that didn’t match the instructions. Had to play hunt and seek for everything. The truss information in the instructions were wrong as only two trusses had the notch for the door but no reference for the other 2 matching trusses we had so ended up instead of removing the whole roof and taking an additional 4 hours we had to adjust the trusses for the door manually to accommodate the door swing - why all trusses aren’t the same is beyond me or the instructions were better. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. This outdoor storage shed is pretty complicated to build. It took me a couple of days to put together the floor and the walls, and I'm still not done because I realized a few parts are missing from the back wall, and the front wall part is about 3 inches shorter. So now I'm waiting for the missing parts and doing my best to make it work. My level of experience in assembling stuff is so-so, but I strongly recommend hiring people to build this because it's pretty complicated to build a shed like this that has over probably 100 parts that have to be meticulously assembled together. This shed is nice! It’s not what I expected but so far it’s been good. It is very windy where we live and so far the shed has been super sturdy. It is resin and has channels. Not sure how the floor will hold up, but the walls once assembled seem great. Assembly is a lot of prep and it takes 2-3 people. Comes in pretty heavy boxes so be prepared. Overall this shed is extremely good for the price. The assembly took a good bit for two of us to put it together. The instructions can be a little difficult to understand at times so really pay attention to what the picture shows. The interior is huge! The headroom is great. Can easily stand up straight and have room to spare. The design has the windows caddie corner from each other, but I didn’t want one facing the house and it was simple to cut the notches for the trusses to fit into. If you want a good shed. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together.
