Steamspa / SWCorp does not service their products. When something goes wrong you have to open up the unit and troubleshoot yourself or pay a contractor to do it. Mine worked for about six months then stopped producing steam. Warranty covers almost nothing. It doesn't cover "parts", so I'm not sure what it covers. Customer service offered to sell me a new one at a 20% discount or buy new heating elements and drain valve since the tank is not draining. None of this is covered under warranty. This unit is plenty large for our shower. We'll create a full steam experience in about five minutes. It did require a bit more electrical work, as it definitely pulls some wattage. We also had to buy a steam tray to set the unit on in a separate transaction, but you must have this. The 2 small round silver at the bottom of shower is where the steam comes out. Super easy to add essential oils for relaxing or invigorating experience. Overall this is a very nicely built unit. Heavy duty, all metal construction in the body, spring, and sprayer handle. The on-off handle is easy to use and adjust, and operates smoothly. The hardware and hoses included seem to be nice quality, although I hate when companies use metric on one end (the faucet end) and SAE on the other end (the water line hookup). My only critiques are the following: The sprayer button was NOT intuitive and while it appears to push IN, flicks up/down to change between sprayer modes. The other is that the spring is extremely stiff and therefore doesn't allow the nozzle to go much lower than the holder. The image of the brushed stainless makes the faucet appear much darker than it really is. The photo I posted is of the brushed finish in an IKEA DOMSJO double basin sink. You will also notice the handle is at a 45° angle. I had to install this way because at full-cold the handle hit my backsplash. I told him the message that’s blinking on the hood screen and he asks , so do you need parts ? What ?! How am I supposed to know. Oh my goodness. That’s why I’m calling him, to figure this out. This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min.
