Pine with a baked on finish which looks fantastic. Assembly is simple and the directions are straightforward. Everything aligned perfectly and it took about 45 min to assemble both boxes. Husband and wife tag team to put together the armoire. The first one took 2 hours, the second one took 1.5 hours and the third one took 1 hour so in total 4.5 hrs. We had EDM music playing in the background so it kept us motivated throughout the process. The directions were very easy to follow. easy to put up and directions were straight forward. with nothing inside it is a little wobbly but assume when loaded will be weighted down and more supported. that said to keep sturdy I'll add some wooden bracers to the bottom between the leveling feet as that should add support. Also, the little bracket to hold on the wall isn't going to be enough so I'll add some other brackets to the top and a bracer board along the back to drill into wall studs. these are all easy fixes for a garage and for the price I'm happy with purchase. Side note that the tiny screw driver included is worthless. I have a decent set of tools that made it easier but I am interested in seeing if anyone is able to use it for the entire build.. Very solid piece. The color is nice and the assembly was easy. I’m using the piece in my craft room closet and it’s just lovely. The only criticism I would put forth is that the shelving unit is actually two pieces that sit on top of each other. Once I unpack the rest of my items, the weight will balance everything.. Kelli.
