It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! Gorgeous sink. It is difficult to clean the seams and corners, and because there is no slope it pools water somewhat. The Wetstyle Feel shower base is perfect. It is a soft white with a beautiful, somewhat matt (not shiny) finish that provides sure footing and the look of stone. We use a ceiling mounted shower curtain rather than a glass door to maintain an open look in a small bathroom. In our case, there was a bit of splash outside the shower pan with, possible due to the pan's slope. Our solution is to install a small quartz barrier (like a threshold). We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. Although this double bowl sink only measures 28 inches wide it is designed with a large 15 inches bowl which provides ample space to handle large pots, ideal for a small kitchen cabinet. Both basins have drain grooves for optimal drainage.
