We ordered 2 of these lights to put in our hallway. Overall, we really like them. They are clean, understated, and modern. Our hallway is narrow so the small footprint was perfect for our space. However, as mentioned in another post there definitely is a shade seam which I tried to show I'm the picture. I'm not sure why the description says there is not a seam. Also, it states in the questions and answers that there is not a seam but there is. As noted in another review there are 3 clips that hold in the light diffuser that you can't see in the manufacturer's picture. One interesting thing we've noticed is the light never fully shuts off. At night, in the pitch black hallway, it emits a low glow, almost like a night light. I'm assuming this has something to do with the LED technology though we have LED elsewhere in our home and haven't noticed this. It's not bright enough to keep us awake but just something to note..
