I like these very much (I ordered 2), but I encountered some issues during their construction. I am builder by nature (scientist), and rarely step away from a challenge. Firstly, my instructions were laughably poor such that I found myself experimenting with combinations to make sure I got it right (had I not had a second package, it would have taken considerably longer than it did). Secondly - related - my instructions clearly had a least one drawing (which propagated through several pages) with was wrong and, in fact, impossible like an Escher painting! When I finally solved the puzzles…twice…I determined that they are not truly finished when the instructions stop. Nope! Due to some oddness in the upper electronics, I was forced to use a combination of ties, short conduit, and cable trestles to hide runs on the inside and down the back. And finally I was done…these night stands terminate in old school USB A adapters, so make sure you have wall warts available. Really Once finished, they’re gorgeous. I really love the look! I found the instructions extremely easy to follow. Directions came with both written and diagram instructions. I am in my mid 60s and building this nightstand was enjoyable and accomplishing. I like the fact that the nightlight is motion censored and will stay lit for about 10 seconds.
