Wow, this is a beautiful lantern. Arrived very securely packaged. I found the same item on another (much more expensive) website before I found the exact same thing here at a substantially better price (kicking myself over that one). This lantern is just beautiful in both day and night environments, but especially at night, when the colors reflect on the surface the lantern is sitting on. The solar bulb is bright, allowing for the beautiful reflective design. The thickness of the glass is substantial -- it doesn't feel like it will break easily. Beautiful vase! Heavy and well made, really very striking in person, it reminds me of looking out into the ocean. I do wish it had more yellows and greens like in the product photos, the black was quite strong and caught me off guard but I still very much love this piece.
