[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last dishwasher was also a Bosch, installed over 15 years ago. I was shocked (though I obviously shouldn't have been) to see that the water and electrical hookups had moved completely, making the install much more complicated for me. On the other hand, the newer leveling procedure is much nicer. Of course, we're still just getting used to it, but I fully expect this new Benchmark version to last at least as long as the old "800" model did, and be just as easy to live with. (Full disclosure, the old one would still be running fine if "someone" hadn't taken a tumble on the open door!) So far, my only quibble (and it's a large one) is that the Delay Start button has been moved to ONLY the app and is no longer on the control panel. At least let it be part of your Favorites settings! Very disappointed! Purchased this item based on reviews posted unreliable. My main reason for purchase of this item was ease of installation and it offered a night light, however there was no parts list included so I have no idea what the wattage of the bulbs is or where to purchase for replacement. The bulbs do not screw in, they plug in. The top of the unit is not flat preceeding the front angle as shown in the diagram. The unit sticks out farther than the cabinet. Stainless formed with lots of up and down impressions which makes cleaning difficult. Need to cover with some type molding possibly. No Contact information or website for manufacture. Temperature is accurate. • Advice (as one does with any new range): Compare oven temp with separate oven thermometer • Audio alert such as the moment when the oven has reached the preheat temp and when bake time is reached, is faint compared to other ovens I have used. Please amplify the alert or allow the user to set the volume on alerts. Some folks may be harder of hearing than others. • Storage drawer is large enough to store unused oven racks as well as (separately acquired) broiler pans. • Warming center (a great feature) on cooktop passed the melted butter test (i.e. keeping butter in melted but not over-heated state) • Instead of two large burners in the front, the cooktop would be much more useful if one of the burners in the front could allow the user to select either a larger burner circumference or a smaller one. Sometimes, a smaller burner is the only one needed. (Tea for two, for example.) • Oven door projects into the room a bit more than I expected, but is not obtrusive for my galley kitchen. • The oven shuts off when the timer reaches the set time. The user should be the one who cancels the bake, not the oven, unless Bosch gives the user an option to shut off when the oven timer reaches the set time. I do not use the oven timer.. Elizabeth R.
