I absolutely love this mantel! We purchased our home in March. It which was built in 1995 and I’ve slowly been updating things throughout the house. This was exactly what I was looking for and it was so easy to mount on the fireplace. The entire process took about an hour, start to finish - removing the old mantle to mounting the new.. Emily. This is so beautiful. Just what I wanted! I did not use the bottom piece because I wanted the fireplace to be shorter than the window. Assembly of the mantle was straightforward. However, the fireplace which basically didn’t require assembly, left me guessing as to where to put the LED light strip. Personally, I did not like the back lighting, so I unplugged them.. Cristina. Fantastic mantel. I shopped several custom mantel stores and was prepared to pay over 3k for a mantel when I came across this one. The wood grain and mild distressing is perfect for our space. It gives character to a cookie cutter builder home. Unfortunately the money I saved on the mantel has been spent at Wayfair on other decor items….. not a bad trade off!. Lisa. The Villages, FL.
