Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Ella’s Royal is vacuum formed from a solid, long-lasting acrylic sheet. Under the shell is a stainless steel frame reinforced with multiple fiberglass mesh and gelcoat layers. The Royal’s main feature is the U-shape door made from custom brushed stainless steel with a frosted tempered glass window to give the bathtub a contemporary look. The door swings into the bathtub to give bathers more interior space as they enter/exit. Size: 31.75 in. x 52.25 in. x 38 in. (fits standard 60 in. opening with extension panel). The 5-Piece fast-fill (18GPM based on plumbing conditions) faucet has: 2 temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. The Royal also comes with Ella's Dual Drain Technology- the fastest gravity driven drain in the industry. It consists of two 2” gravity driven drains with four 2” outlets, 2 overflows and 2 openers. The Hydro Massage System includes: a hydro pump with an in-line water heater, eco-friendly ozone sterilization system, an intensity dial, and strategically positioned hydro jets for a targeted, effective massage. The in-line water heater and ozone sterilization automatically engage when the hydro massage is turned on. The Royal has 16 hydro jets: 10 upper, fixed jets provide relief to your back, hips and thighs; and 6 lower, adjustable jets massage your feet and calves. While you bathe, enjoy Ella’s patented 360° swivel tray, which allows bathers to keep their favorite drink or must read book conveniently close.

I did a full bathroom remodel to add a tub to my master bath and maximize the use of space. This tub was the perfect blend of wide and deep to make the 59" length not feel too short for me. Two people can share this tub. It is beautiful and solid. The only two things I would say is be aware that the drain is in the center of the tub so if you were to stretch out in it you will probably pop the drain. Also, sides this steep can be uncomfortable if you aren't planning on sitting up. Might need a cushion. The material doesn't heat up fast so a cold bathroom could make a tub this deep cold on the top when you lean against it.. Ou_titan. Sun Jan 08 2023
