First, the finish quality on this tub is very good, looks good. my main concern, and why I did not give it 5 stars is because the specifications and the CAD drawings spec the actual length at 66". However, the length is actually 65-3/4 " at the top of the tub and 65-5/8"at the bottom. This presented a problem requiring one of the end walls to be furred out so that the backerboard and tile installed correctly My rough-in was at 66-1/16" so as to allow the tub to slide in easily if it had been the length shown. In the shower, hip height is sufficient as a lower limit; there you should perhaps opt for the 24" wallbar or you could go for a 36" wallbar depending on your needs. The RainDrain Match 35 1/4" drain trim (finish set) in brushed stainless steel from hansgrohe is a flexible drainage solution for installation flush with the back wall or freestanding in the shower area. The shower drain trim's brushed stainless steel finish goes particularly well with modern bathroom designs. Alternatively, the channel can be tiled at the back also (max. tile thickness 18 mm). The vertically adjustable frame offers flexibility in the drain barrier also: so the system can be adjusted to the height of the tiles – for floor-level installation without trip hazard. The result meets the requirements of a barrier-free shower area. The innovative high-tech silicone membrane also ensure that hair and dirt do not get stuck. This helps prevent annoying blockages in the drain. It is easy: They are installed on a complete set with pre-assembled sealing fleece (sold separately).
