Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. This is the perfectly sized LED outdoor light fixture for us. I have taken various shots for you so you have an idea of scale and appearance. It is elegant and understated at the same time, which is what we wanted given that the fixture needed to be right next to an awning, and located in a rather narrow piece of wall as you will observe. It provides beautiful up and down lighting. We wanted a good amount (not glaring) light for ease of access in/out of that door, and wanted to add a bit of interest at that location by incorporating the contemporary (or modern if you will) feature of up/down lighting. We needed something which would not fight our other outdoor fixtures, so this is the perfect fit. If we had a totally contemporary or modern home, I would probably order this for the entire home. The look of the outside of our home is Mediterranean so all of outside has that flare, which is why this particular fixture had to just do its thing as it blended in with the black and white stripped awning, as it also brought in a focal point of interest at that otherwise boring location. It did all of that! Now, this is the replacement light. The first one which came in was installed (as this one) by our electrician. It become hot almost immediately and after not even an hour, I had to turn it off as it was so hot we could hardly touch it and it made the awning very hot. I immediately reported it to Wayfair and they handled it directly with WAC. They sent me this replacement which is perfect. That is why I gave them the full 5 stars. It's not just the product, it was what happened when the one in a million doesn't work well, how they handled that situation. They told me I could keep or pitch the hot one yet I am going to pitch it as there is no way I could use it nor give it to anyone. Again, the replacement is perfect, does not get hot, gives wonderful light as you can see, is a beautiful shade of black, blends well with various styles and could stand beautifully alone if it had to, and I am beyond happy with it. A seductively curved die-cast aluminum wall sconce. The 18-inch curve is attached to a square mounting plate with concealed fasteners. The mounting plane is illuminated with an even pool of light. Concealed LEDs located at the rear of the curve serve to highlight the gently curved form of the fixture as an absence of light.
