So, the sink is beautiful and I love the offset drain and the work station features (extra cost but you can have a cutting board, colander, drying board and soaking bowl). However, two separate sinks were delivered with cracks in the corner. One was substantial, and I returned it to Wayfair w/o issue. The second was a small hairline crack that was just forming, and I exchanged it under warranty with Kohler. I got a 3rd sink with no issues, but now I'm scared cracks might develop down the road. Unfortunately the counter was already templated to this sink (which btw you must use the template to make sure the edges are exposed for the accessories), so I just have my fingers crossed. This is the second home I have installed Kohler Riverby sink in because I love it so much! I have had the 30" version of it in my house since 2016 and it still looks like new! Keeping the included rack in the sink keeps it from getting scratched or marked. I needed a smaller sink for a small condominium I own, so I purchased the same sink in this 25" version. Having the drain offset away from the center makes it much easier to place and rinse dishes without spoons or forks dropping straight down into the drain, so I have never had that issue. It is beautiful, sturdy and the best part is how it slightly slopes downward toward the drain, making rinsing and cleaning it much more efficient. We installed this 5 years ago on a remodel and had looked at the 9" depth in the store and decided on that one. We didn't realize right next to it was the 5" depth and when we went back to order at the plumbing store, accidentally just pointed the 5" depth out in a rush to get it ordered. When it arrived, the plumber pointed it out and said we would hate it and offered to return and reorder, but we had already waited 3 weeks for this one and were eager to be done with the remodel so we opted to keep it. We are 5 years in and wish we had paid more attention and listened to our plumber. The sink, while lovely and works, is not deep enough to counter splashing when washing hands, pots, etc. and so as a result the granite around the sink is already showing signs of hardwater stains that we will have to pay to have polished out. We had spent a lot of money on a large under mount hand hammered copper metal sink and i was concerned about the weight of the sink being carried by just the cabinet. i found these online and took a shot at them. very stout piece of metal and nice construction. The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard.
